About Certain Services, Inc.

Certain Services, Inc. is a family-owned and operated water treatment, plumbing and well equipment service company. From the beginning, Certain Services, Inc. have devoted themselves to providing top-quality service to their clients in Southwest Florida at a fair price and they hold true to those values today. Customer service, integrity, and all of the forgotten values of the past are what you will receive when working with Certain Services, Inc. They have been involved in the water treatment business for over 20 years and service all makes and models. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Certain Services, Inc. started in 2009 by Bill and Chris Certain as Certain Water Service. Bill started out as the soul service tech/sales rep/parts runner/installer (in other words he did it all). After about 2 years they added their first technician and soon after they added Kelly (their daughter) to answer the phones, dispatch and data entry.  From there they bought out the residential side of a reverse osmosis (RO) company called, Harn RO. Mr. Harn had been building his drinking water systems for 30+ years and had evolved into a company that built municipal RO plants all over the world. The Certains took over the business with the goal of focusing on customer service.  This turned out to be a huge blessing to the Certain family and the business.

Since then they have added 2 other technicians, another office staff member, a part-time sales consultant and recently, Chris Certain left her position as a senior staff accountant for Goodwill industries and started full time at Certain Services. In 2013-2016 Bill Certain served on the board for the Florida Water Quality Association while also pursuing his plumbing contractor certification.

Certain Services is now a state licensed plumbing contractor and an authorized WaterCare Dealer sense 2014. Along with WaterCare products, they also sell and service the CertainFlow line, their in-house built reverse osmosis systems.

We had a new sink installed as well as new plumbing underneath. Joe did a wonderful job and was very thorough. He explained everything in detail. We would definitely use Certain Services again in the future.

I recently called Certain Services to have my Outside water system inspected and cleaned. Amy was very professional, nice and helpful. Nick arrived well within the two hour window and is not only an excellent technician, but took the time to answer all my questions about the system, explaining everything he was doing along the way. I never realized the ‘chemistry’ behind the water system. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, and worked hard to clean the large tank. I am happy I have found a company I can rely on to inspect/clean in the future! I have had two other company’s in the past, and neither took everything apart to inspect. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bill Certain is the owner who is very knowledgeable on local water conditions for all your conditioning needs. His store and Shop are impeccably clean for a water treatment company. He frequently has classes for all of his employees so they are kept abreast of changing water conditions. The type of equipment he uses is top quality but that's what you want for getting good clean water!

We had a awesome experience with Certain water services, they installed a reverse osmosis system in our home. After living in Wisconsin with great water I was very disgusted with the salty Florida water. The Certain team changed that for me. I love my water, no more sulphuric smell and best of all it taste amazing. I feel great knowing I’m drinking clean water. It’s a game changer for me living in Florida. The team they sent Nick and Cody were professional and explained everything to us even in the 90 degree heat. We are happy for making the choice to have the Certain Water services team with all their expertise install our new system. We awoke one morning to no water. I called Certain Service. They responded quickly. They had a tech in the area. After completing that job,Nick responded to our call. He immediately identified the problem and made the repair. He then checked all the equipment and found our softener was not working. Another quick fix.
